Frequently asked questions

We often receive some questions. Although you can always contact us to ask your question, we have created an overview here of the frequently asked questions with short answers. Is your question not listed here or is the answer not completely clear? Then feel free to contact us!

  • Payment and salary

When will I receive my salary?

You are paid either weekly or every four weeks. Which payment period applies to you will be explained at the start and can also be found on your payslip.

What is the difference between weekly payment and four-weekly payment?
Weekly payment: you receive your salary every week.
Four-weekly payment: you receive your salary once every four weeks (thirteen payments per year).

When will my salary be in my bank account?

Your salary will be transferred on the agreed payment day. Please note: banks may process the payment later in the day.

    How is my salary calculated?

Your salary is calculated based on your worked and approved hours.

What if I submit my hours too late?
If your hours are submitted too late, they can usually only be included in the next payment cycle.

Where can I find my payslip?

You receive your payslip digitally (via email or portal/app). It includes your worked hours, salary, allowances, and deductions.

Why is my net salary different from what I expected?

This may be due to payroll tax, pension contributions (if applicable), allowances, breaks, travel expenses, or corrections from previous periods.

  • Hours and scheduling

How do I submit my hours?

You register your hours through the agreed system (timesheet/portal/app). Make sure you complete this correctly and on time.

Do my hours need to be approved?

Yes, your hours usually need to be approved by the client/supervisor before they are paid out.

Can I work extra hours or swap shifts?

This is often possible in consultation. Contact your planner/recruiter to discuss the possibilities.

  • Allowances, holidays, and reimbursements

Do I receive allowances for evening, night, or weekend work?

This depends on the collective labor agreement (CAO) and the client. If allowances apply, they will be included in your salary.

Do I accrue holiday pay and vacation days?

Yes, you accrue holiday pay and vacation days. These are shown on your payslip (accrual or payment per period, depending on the arrangement).

Am I entitled to travel expense reimbursement?

Sometimes. This depends on the assignment and agreements. If you receive travel reimbursement, this will be stated on your payslip.

  • Illness and absence

What should I do if I am sick?

Report your illness as soon as possible to the employment agency and (if agreed) also to your client/employer. This must always be done by phone before 8:30 AM. This allows us to process your absence correctly.

What if I am late or unable to come to work?

Inform your contact person at the employment agency immediately (and possibly your workplace as well). The sooner you report it, the better.

  • Starting and contact

What do I need to start working?
